Sports Trading Portfolio
As of writing on 1st August 2016, I have decided to revamp this page and update the profits on a monthly basis. At first, I attempted to update it on a daily basis but it was simply too much work and I didn’t keep up with it.
All profit & loss will be based off of an example bank size of £1000 per sport.
I use a variety of strategies for eSports betting on various eSports games. I mainly bet on the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as it’s one that I enjoy playing myself! I share my strategies, tips and teach you how to become a profitable eSports bettor at my new site: e-Sports.tips
- July: 8.1%
- August: 6.6%
Horse Racing (Pre-Race & In-Play)
Although I potter about pre-race, I make the bulk of my profit In-Play. Lots of people worry that the markets are extremely volatile, which they are. I think it’s possible to profit from them so long as you understand what comes with volatile markets and adjust your trading plan accordingly. As of the 1st August, I started to record my horse profit & loss. I had taken at least 3-4 months away from horses to focus on eSports and other ventures.
- August: 121%
As you can see, I only started trading football at the beginning of the year. Despite it going really well, unfortunately it also coincided with the beginning of my obsession with eSports betting. I’m looking forward to picking it back up again this season.
This page will grow as my trading progresses, but for now you can find the growth chart of my last minute football goals strategy & pre-race horse trading below:
I can tell you now that I’m not making serious money with Football Index but it has been fun to track the progress of it and make a bit of money on the side. I will update this page with a post about what Football Index actually is, for those interested.
- August: 3%
I got this idea from another sports trader so all credit to them (I will reference as soon as I remember who it was!). It seems like a great idea to have a page dedicated to losing trades. It can be hard for new traders when all they see is people showing off winning trades while they wonder why they lose so much themselves.
